It makes no sense to spend more money on ripping out bike lanes than it cost to put them in. This bill is at best a distraction from the Ford government's refusal to address Ontario's cost of living crisis, and at worst will result in more injured and dead cyclists. Bike lanes save lives, encourage environmentally sound transportation, and contribute to more liveable cities. If anything we need more cycling infrastructure, not less.
