I live in the east end. spending 50 million dollars to remove bike lanes will increase car-caused fatalities, decrease foot traffic to local businesses, increase air pollution (resulting in increased hospitalizations particularly in the summer months), and also cost 50 million dollars to do so (and this is before all the costs associated with the above).
God I hate this city. If you don't want a livable, walkable, bikeable city, just go live in the suburbs, that's what they're there for!
