This is act is wholly misguided and waste of taxpayer funds. If the provincial government was serious about gridlock issues they would be looking to increase transit/alternative modes of transport to lessen the amount of cars on the road. Additionally, if this act was in any way a serious effort to relieve gridlock, they would need to mandate the removal of on street parking (which takes up much more room than bike lanes).
