As both a motorist and cyclist, I’m appalled by the lack of evidence-based decision-making in Bill 212.
- AMO, OPPI, OSPE, OTC, and 120 physicians oppose it.
- The bill ignores safety and health, focusing only on car traffic.
- There are no viable alternatives for bike lanes on Bloor, University, and Yonge.
- Removing these lanes could cost taxpayers $48 million.
This bill is dangerous, wasteful, and poorly thought out. It needs to be stopped.
