Hard NO. This proposal has no merit concerning the protection of species at risk and only facilitates the removal of their protective legislation and development of their existing habitat. So sick of big business removing what's left of our natural heritage, a heritage that should be cherished and promoted instead of bulldozing for Doug Ford and his cronies money-making interests. If done correctly with proper initial investment in research, these natural habitats could provide community employment, health and wellness, and sense of worth opportunities.
Stop. The environment has taken enough hits from your ripping the OMNR to shreds and handing over everything to Conservation Authorities, who are under intense pressure already. Start doing the right thing and FUND THE ENVIRONMENT. You won't regret it, unlike what will happen if you don't.
