Why would anyone consider a dump this close to a town?
Why would anyone haul dirt that was supposedly "non-toxic" 2-4 hours away? Many construction projects require clean fill at any given time, why would it not be given away or sold?
Why can't the company that is proposing this "landfill" "recycling facility" or whatever it is be a little more clear on their plan?
Because they don't have to be apparently. There will be no accountability from the company when things go south... the river will be polluted... an uptick in health issues in the community... roads to be fixed at the taxpayer's expense (from garbage wagons beating them up)
There is no benefit to the Dresden community.
Dresden, Ontario will become a cousin to that neighborhood in Niagara Falls, NY.
