Water is life and I fundamentally oppose the proposed changes to water taking permits. If a new ownership group comes in, that is the ideal time to ensure what is being permitted is sustainable. Look at the state of water rights in the southwest of the USA. Let’s make sure such a vital resource is maintained. With climate disruption, what was feasible 10 years ago maybe unsustainable 10 years from now. If everything aligns, then a new owner should welcome the opportunity, if things aren’t aligned it probably is a good thing to know before buying
