I have a lot of concerns and questions about this proposal.
Beaches have to be kept public and all beaches have to have public access.
What is to stop the municipality of Wasaga Beach from privatizing the beach?
Exactly how will this be of economic benifit for Canadians.
Wasaga has the land in front of the beaches to make good economic decisions that will promote tourism without jeopardizing the public access to the beach.
With the beaches in the hands of the province, the province can continue to ensure the whole of Ontario has access to the beaches without hindrance.
But if this plan were to move forward, I would want to see how the beaches will be protected for the public and for conservation before I could support this proposal.
