This is a slippery slope, in setting a precedent to put all of our parks and green spaces at risk. Not protecting Wasaga Beach environment and the Plover habitat has grave consequences for the future of the beach. Our parks need to be protected to remain bastions of nature for both humans and animals, as well as plant life. As an Ontario tax payer, I oppose the amendment to establish Wasaga Beach as what would become “Miami Beach North”!!
