Provincial Parks provide the necessary framework to carry out important conservation efforts in places like this. Any town’s municipal representatives do not have the expertise, the time, or in most cases, the funding to properly administrate the care of such an area. The land should not be sold to the town. Tourism has to take a backseat to the ecology of the location.
