I am writing to share my opposition to Bill 60. As someone who walks, bikes, drives, and takes public transit to get around Toronto, I know the importance of having a variety of efficient transportation options. Bill 60 limits this variety by prioritizing car infrastructure. New bike and bus lanes need to be carefully planned and built in places where they will be effective. Local communities and municipal governments are most suited to doing this decision making in consultation with local residents and businesses. Bill 60 is a case of provincial government overreach.
