This proposal will give the government the authority to override the laws that are currently in place to protect the natural spaces and conservation of important areas. It is not a great idea as this would slow down our efficiency and make it harder to manage the current watersheds and overall would be a big inconvenience. This also threatens conservation and nature as it encourages urban sprawl instead of building up. It would be better to focus less on building outwards and build upon what we already have instead of destroying the nature that’s already diminishing because of urbanization. So please reconsider and if this were to go through make a uniform design that would focus more on the conservation of our natural areas instead of building more houses and businesses the general population won’t be able to afford.
