Please reconsider the proposed change to Conversation Authorities Act. Consolidation of authority undermines local knowledge and the adequate protection of our lands and water. This proposal is clearly only meant to benefit rich developers. It will only weaken the protection of our parks, land, and water. Our current system is not fragmentated it is a designed based on the uniqueness of our watersheds. We cannot put everything into boxes and grids and expect it to work. Water does not abide by these grids, the new boundaries thats being proposed will only serve to protect the interests of developers and not the water and land we are blessed with.
