I am a pedestrian, non-driver, and city cyclist - I only cycle in Toronto because we have bike lanes given that I live at Bloor Street and Parkside Drive where drivers constantly speed. I also encounter aggressive drivers and speeding throughout the city. Please rescind Bill 60 immediately. This Bill will reduce accessibility, stifle the creation of patios, increase congestion and pollution, lead to more fatalities (collisions between vehicles and vehicles and pedestrians), the list goes on. We are in a climate crisis and must prioritize rapidly scaling up public transportation and lower carbon forms of travel such as walking and biking.
