My husband and I are retired, and we rely on our bicycles for staying active and running errands.
We are moving to the Birchcliffe neighbourhood in Scarborough and had been counting on the Danforth cycling extension to provide a safe and direct connection for us. It also allows our daughters, who live and work in the city, to visit us safely by bike.
We are deeply disappointed. This route isn’t just infrastructure—it is a lifeline for older adults, families, and anyone trying to get around without a car.
Please reverse this decision.
