It is deplorable to amalgamate the conservation authorities in this way. The reduced staff would lead to cuts in work being completed, more time spent travelling than doing work and would be the opposite of productive. As someone who works in natural resource management, this is a very I'll advised decision and is counter productive. It may save a few dollars, but there are other sectors within the control and administration of the province that would not be as severely impacted with fine tuning to manage them more effectively. This is nonsensical, and does not accomplish any tangible result. It is an illusion of productivity in government. I'm outraged, disgusted and appalled at this proposal. There are many other areas to thin out bureaucracy across the government and it's funded subsidiaries. The Conservation Authorities are not one of them. Do an audit of productivity before cutting and slashing
