I live within the Raisin River Conservation Authority boundaries and I have to voice my strong opposition to the Government of Ontario’s proposal to amalgamate all of Ontario’s Conservation Authorities.
This is a mistake and it will take something that is local and accountable and make it distant and faceless. It will weaken protections for our environment and we will lose local knowledge. Please do not move ahead with this silly proposal.
