I strongly disagree with…

I strongly disagree with this proposal. I don’t feel 36 conservation authorities can affectively be whittled down to 7 and maintain their expertise in protecting our watershed, rivers and environment.I live in the Kettle Creek CA area and this proposal would now include Longpoint, Catfish creek, Grand River, Upper and Lower Thames ,Essex, St. Clair and the Kettle creek Conservation Authorities. The scope that this one authority would have to maintain I’d mind boggling. I can even comprehend how the Northeastern authority will function. This is a horrible proposal that will only benefit urban sprawl. Watersheds will not be protected, flooding will increase( like the Don Valley Parkway)and the environment will lose. All so we can build more homes that the common working person can never afford. Stop this !!
