I am disappointed and extremely concerned about the proposed consolidation of CA’s. Firstly, it would be impossible to have fair representation of all municipalities and services such as permits and consultation would be come less efficient and burdensome for stakeholders. Despite promises made by the Ford administration, there would be no way to avoid massive job losses further impacting backlog of oversight and permits and thus the weakening of essential environmental protections and other CA mandated services communities have come to expect. It is disappointing how little value this conservative government has placed on environmental conservation and protection. Economic progress does not have it come at the expense of protecting our values CAs. Efficiencies can be found without these ridiculous amalgamations.

I urge you to scrap this bill.
