I don’t agree with this. Currently each conservation authority is run/managed by people within that community and they ensure that the conservation is maintained. Allowing the province government to control it will make it harder for conservations to get the attention they need. Right now there is person interest and care. I love the conservations, but worry about the decline and sale of our conservation’s if the current provincial government takes over.
I don’t support this. Just like I don’t support the selling of the green belt or the provincial parks.
This needs to stop.
