This proposal is not ethical…

This proposal is not ethical or equitable. People are going to lose their jobs. Valuable initiatives and programs for science, conservation, restoration, management, etc. are going to be cut. Species at risk are going to become further at risk of extinction with loss of land and conservation efforts. CA’s are required to be consulted on industry projects and this consolidation may hinder internal capacity to do good works and do right by the environment. We can’t keep bulldozing and polluting our environment. CA’s require sufficient internal capacity as the “good guys” to keep industry projects accountable. All they care about is their bottom line.
