Restructuring the conservation authority threatens to erode the oversight of watershed management, water resource protection, habitat and biodiversity conservation, and numerous other aspects of maintaining a healthy environment. Doing this to speed up housing and business development is unacceptable, and will result in irreversible environmental damage.
