As an Oakville resident for the last 15 years, I have seen and experienced a lot of growth and change within the community. A lot of that has been good but the continued over-cramming of new residents and over-boom of high rise housing has had a significant negative impact on the community and environment. Traffic has become in our neighbourhoods have become unbearable even outside of “rush hour”. Crime rates have increased. Air and noise pollution have too. I implore you to stop (or at a minimum) reduce the number of new high rise developments in our town. What made Oakville special and different from Toronto is disappearing and is alarming.
