I strongly disagree with the plan to amalgamate the conservation authorities. The Niagara region must be allowed to keep their own. You cannot have oversight of such large areas and keep things fair and unique to the area. We need to keep our sovereignty, if not only bad things will happen. Ontario will try to do whatever they want to the Niagara Region. Doug Ford is bad for the environment. Everyone knows this. It’ll be a slippery slope for land development, no doubt. We should have a say.
