The Lakehead Regional Conservation Authority needs to remain independent, as its own regional ÇA. The map of the proposed Huron Superior Regional Conservation Authority makes it clear this is not the entity that the LRCA, and all the important work it does in this watershed, do NOT belong to this proposal in any reasonable fashion. To lump the LRCA into another region over 1000 km away in the spirit of amalgamating into regional entities is non-sensical.
