This is a terrible idea. The sensitive, individual nature of each of these areas is not something that an amalgamated board can overtake. Nuance, knowledge, connections will all be lost. Our constitution should include the protection of nature at all costs because once it is altered, damaged or destroyed we can’t get it back. I am a regenerative farmer in the Hamilton/burlington area, I work closely with conservation boards and understand the severe negative implications this will have. Please, do not do this.
