As a resident of Dundas, and through my work in local real estate, I see how conservation authority decisions shape land use, flood risk, and long-term community resilience. Hamilton and Dundas encompass diverse landscapes and watersheds that depend on deep, place-specific knowledge. Amalgamating conservation authorities across regions as far apart as Peel and Niagara would dilute that expertise and weaken effective environmental stewardship.
