As a paid member at different times to the TRCA, CVC, and GRCA, the idea of merging these conservation authorities perplexes me. Each knows their own are incredibly well, are active in local communities and have different focuses - according to the needs of their own areas. Reducing down to only 7 will reduce local engagement and focus and make it easier for bad actors to ignore conservation warnings and authorities.
