The Lakehead region…

The Lakehead region conservation Authority is a community based environmental agency responsible for the delivery of programs and services that further the conservation restoration development and management of natural resources in the Lakehead (Thunder Bay) watershed.
While I acknowledge the Province’s goal in amalgamating conservation authorities, I strongly believe that the LRCA is unique in both its location and the region it serves and therefore should not be amalgamated with conservation authorities with no watershed or municipal connection.
It is important to keep decision-making locally here in Thunder Bay to ensure that it remains responsive, effective, and grounded in the priorities of our region!
