The consolidation of Conservation Authorities is not the way to go forward. Unfortunately the Government is Ontario is out of touch and making decisions to aid their relationships in the private sector. The current authorities have knowledge of their specific conservation needs and the consolidation will not fix the issues currently out there. The Government taking over is wrong and that is not why they were voted in. They are out of touch and don’t care for the public wants or needs.
Leave them alone and deal with issues that need addressing not being a government that takes over everything because it deems it should. Stop being a bully to the People of Ontario.
