The idea of consolidating the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority (lakehead of Lake Superior the largest of the Great Lakes) with the Southern Ontario conservation authorities around Lake Huron does not make any sense unless the intention is to (a) take away Northern Ontario representation and care over Northern lands, remove the rights to govern the conservation of Northern lands from Northern Ontario. This does not make any sense as the ecosystems and realities of the regions are vastly different and require separate conservation management.
