The Lakehead Region Conservation Authority also plays a key role in managing sources of municipal water in the in Thunder Bay and the region. By consolidating this body with other authorities located in a completely different area of the province, this increases the risk of poor oversight and management of the source waters for Thunder Bay's drinking water and surrounding region. Please revise and leave this authority independent from other authorities not located in the Thunder Bay region.
