I volunteer for Source Water Protection. Being closely involved in working with the Regional Authority, I can confirm both the importance of their work, and that the boundaries should not be expanded to reduce the number of regional Conservation areas. Most of them are already too broad!
Their work is integral to so many functioning systems. A restructuring is nor required and instead of streamlining operations would throw the systems into chaos and over-extend them.
Please do not proceed with this plan.
