I am deeply disturbed by the Province's plan to amalgamate conservation authorities across the province. The move is wrong headed and not only threatens to undermine local conservation initiatives, it suggests that those proposing this have little understanding of the important and specificity of particular water sheds and ecosystems.

I urge the province to withdraw this proposal/plan and demonstrate that there is knowledge and care for our environment
