An absolutely foolish…

An absolutely foolish decision as it lessens local input into decisions that have local impacts. A cost-cutting measure, perhaps, but it will diminish efforts to address local concerns as board members in this new enlarged conservation authority plan may not even reside in the community or communities being impacted. Although it may not be the intent this move will favour business developers and dilute attempts to mitigate or prevent unwanted or environmentally damaging impacts to these watersheds. My answer to this proposal is an unequivocal “NO”.
