As a resident of Sault Ste Marie, I would like to object to the proposal of amalgamating the conservation authorities. I believe we should maintain our existing structure to ensure we have local representation that reflects the concerns related to our local area. Local lands and its management should be maintained at a local level to support community driven solutions and delivery.

I understand that reduction of costs is important in this proposal however there is value in maintains local autonomy and Sault Ste Marie and area needs to retain local leadership over our conservation authority.
