This is a bad idea. Consolidation does nothing but create mess and confusion, and will
Make these authorities less knowledgeable about their areas. Specialized knowledge is integral to good maintenance and supervision.
I am disgusted by many things this Conservative government has done, including this refusal to listen to stakeholders, who have the expertise critical to proper environmental management.
Shame.
