I urge the Province NOT to amalgamate Ontario's existing regional conservation authorities. Certainly the Premiere and Ministers are very aware of the diverse ecologies and distinct environments in existing conservation regions. These need to be monitored and preserved as each has it's distinct characteristics. Any rationale for amalgamation is just a thinly disguised excuse to further remove critical environmental protections.
