I do not support the proposed changes to our province's conservation authorities.
Conservation authorities are one of Ontario’s best tools for balancing the province’s urgent housing needs with watershed protection and climate resilience. Watershed decisions should be based on science, geography, and local hydrology, not on overly large administrative boundaries. The proposed consolidated regions are too large to remain effective and responsive to local needs.
