It is concerning what this could mean, the province should be working with local agencies to improve services rather than steamrolling over them. Working with the province collaboratively is always the best way forward.
There are plenty of opportunities for the government, municipalities and conservation authorities to work together to improve service delivery. The amalgamation plan will not be effective.
