Oakville Midtown project would be the highest density in Canada.
It’s the equivalent of dropping the city of Collingwood and surrounding area into a very small parcel of land.
It is a fallacy that this density needs to be adjacent to GO train tracks as GO really only services a narrow strip of the GTA. The downtown core available employment will be very unlikely to support those living in Midtown. Many other parcels of land in North Oakville would be far more suitable.
This project is destructive to the “Town of Oakville “ and will not offer a corresponding benefit when other sites are available
