It is quite a shame that the Ministry of Natural Resources is trying to force out the cottagers. People have spent the last two centuries living in harmony with the land and the animals around it. The policies enacted in recent years have made the Rondeau the experience less enjoyable. Originally Rondeau was established for the cottaging population, creating its niche within the provincial park system. I have been vacationing in Rondeau for 22 years and I always hoped that I would be able to pass down those experiences with my children. It would be a shame for this to be taken away.
