I completely oppose the spring bear hunt. I’m incredibly disappointed in Ontario for re-considering this since it is clearly fuelled by economic reasons. Bear cubs will be orphaned as a result and bears don’t need to die so you can make money. It’s also UNACCEPTABLE that this has been proposed with no increase in enforcement budget. Only solidifying that Ontario gov does not care about the protection of it’s wildlife.
