I disagree with the proposal shown here. I do not think MZOs should be strengthen in their current form. Cities and residents have a right to be involved in the planning in their areas and MZOs remove that opportunity when decisions are made at the provincial level. This is happening today with the Foundry Buildings located in Toronto. I believe we should respect local planning processes and enable cities and their residents to have a voice.
