This Amendment will further weaken the ESA and is consistent with Ford's intent to diminish environmental oversight, simply to appease his developer and business cronies. Protecting biodiversity is key to maintaining stable and functioning ecosystems and climate resilience. The ESA if applied as originally intended, would be an effective tool in achieving this aim. Ford continues to pay lip service to environmental protection. I can't wait to vote him out and his merry band of Ministers in June 2022!
