I think this proposal is incredibly foolish and wrongly blames bike lanes for the province's failure to enact any meaningful improvements to transit.
Bike lanes do not cause traffic. Traffic causes traffic. This will not ease traffic, this will only make cycling more dangerous and discourage people from doing anything but driving.
This is a massive waste of time and money. For a government that ran on efficiencies, this is anything but efficient.
Doesn't the government have more meaningful things to tackle like housing, homelessness, healthcare and education?
