This bill is a step backward at a time when we have to "step it up" and do more not less in our fight against climate change.

We must have binding targets to move Ontario towards being 100% carbon neutral by 2050. This can be supported by measures in areas of energy efficiency, heating, transportation, electricity, and climate adaption.

Bill 4 also means that, if passed, it would remove Ontario from the many financial opportunities including clean jobs and investments.

Also, Ontario's climate plan must include pollution pricing.

Climate change is here & getting worse. As predicted many years ago, we are now experiencing worse storms, worse flooding, and more severe wildfires. We have just a very short time to act. This is not something that you can afford to just ignore & let someone else fix in the future.
