What a horrible idea. Every single time traffic throughput is studied, the outcome is clear. To reduce traffic alternatives to driving exist. Removing bike lanes would sacrifice the safety of cyclists to make the driving commute worse.
Not only that but what a waste of money. The bike lanes just got put in and the province wants to rip them up and start a new round of construction!? Terrible.
