Car dependency is the single worst offender for CO2 emissions. This proposed legislation actively undermines the province's climate strategy. As a young person I am terrified by climate targets being blatantly overlooked, and the province's willingness to submit to continued dependency on cars rather than offering more sustainable solutions which work with existing patterns of mobility.

Municipal offices have the knowledge, information, and consultation to understand how people are travelling, and to suggest where vehicle lanes can be reduced. Please do not impose administrative restrictions on the development of more sustainable transport options!
