I would rather want to live in a walkable and bikable city than a city that prioritize drivers efficiency. This act will not make the city more desirable nor safer. The alternative is to focus on enhancing bike lanes and public transport to make these methods more desirable than driving. I have found myself choosing to drive instead of biking because of the lack of bike lanes where I was going, making it unsafe to do so.
